Eight people were killed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the Russian missile strike on a residential area of Odesa.
“Russian terrorists launched a ballistic strike on Odesa, on a residential area. They hit a parking lot,” the head of the Ukrainian state wrote on Telegram.
According to him, an apartment building, a university, and an administrative building were damaged as a result of the attack.
Zelensky notes that eight people are currently known to have died, and almost two dozen more people were injured. All necessary forces have been brought in to help everyone who needs it.
“These are not random strikes — these are demonstrative strikes. After calls and meetings with (Russian dictator Vladimir — edit.) Putin, after all the lying gossip in the media about allegedly “refraining” from strikes. Russia is showing what it is really interested in: only war. And this signal should be heard in all parts of the world, from the halls where the members of the Group of Twenty meet to all the capitals of the world,” the President of Ukraine noted.
