The arsenal of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Bryansk region was hit.
Today, on November 19, 2024, after Biden's permission, for the first time in history, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a military facility in Russia with US-made ATACMS ballistic missiles.
Editor-in-Chief of Censor.NET Yuriy Butusov reports this, citing sources.
He recalls the message of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: “On the night of November 19, 2024, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted fire damage on the arsenal of the 1046th logistics center near the city of Karachev in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. As of 02:30 this night, 12 secondary explosions and a detonation were recorded in the target area. The destruction of ammunition depots for the army of Russian occupiers in order to stop the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will continue.”
Butusov recalls that earlier Russian dictator Vladimir Putin threatened to strike NATO forces if Ukraine began to strike with long-range weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation.
“And today, another “brown line” of the Kremlin has been crossed. And now the whole world will be watching to see if Putin dares to take any action. The beginning of long-range strikes on the Russian Federation will not lead to a quick turning point in the war, but will cause significant losses to the rear facilities of the Russian army, complicate the maneuver and logistics of the Russian army in the border areas, force the air defense systems to be stretched even further, the enemy will be in the crosshairs for hundreds of kilometers deep into Russia,” Butusov notes.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of November 19, the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Federation was hit in the Bryansk region, and in the Rostov region, local authorities reported a drone attack. Subsequently, the General Staff officially confirmed that an ammunition depot in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation had been hit.
It is important to note that the current US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to fire long-range ATACMS missiles at Russian territory.
