Residents are furious.
The village of Korenevo in the Kursk region, where there were no Ukrainian Armed Forces or military operations, was completely plundered. Russian soldiers robbed not only stores and pharmacies, but also the homes of ordinary citizens, writes "Dialog.UA".
During their Kursk operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces came very close to Korenevo, but never entered it.
The Russian army took up defensive positions there, and most of the local residents were evacuated. When they returned home, people found that their houses had been plundered and devastated.
One of the residents filmed the aftermath on video. A group of Russian soldiers lived in his house for some time. "Everything was turned inside out, thrown out... Cartridges were lying around... Some kind of military hat, camouflage jackets, gloves. The Russian army... Trash left after dry rations and pouches. In short, they ate, fucked, and didn't worry. There's even a chevron... TVs, computers, monitors, everything disappeared! Everything is upside down. The toilet is full of garbage. A window is broken. They ate, drank, and had a snack," the Russian complained.
When leaving home, he hung a sign saying "Everything has been stolen" to stop further looting.
Residents of the Korenevsky district are complaining a lot about looting by Russian soldiers.
However, neither the command of the Russian Armed Forces nor the local authorities are listening to them. The military continues to move into civilian homes, rob them, and kill pets.
The governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, cynically responded to complaints from residents about looting. He began to ensure that this was an "information leak" by the Ukrainian special services.
This caused a wave of indignation among the residents of the district. According to their data, Russian Armed Forces soldiers are settling in houses without any embarrassment, claiming that they “have the right to do so.” The police, including the military, do not respond to complaints and refuse to initiate criminal cases for looting.
