The fighters made the enemy think that the assault is prepared only in one direction.
Thanks to the ingenuity of the Defence Forces fighters, the Russians were knocked out of two positions in Novohrodivka and Mykolaivka in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by fighters of the 425th separate assault battalion of ‘Skala’.
It is noted that the Ukrainian defenders decided to simulate an assault on one position with the help of BMP. The task was to divert attention and drive away to a safe distance. This vehicle was followed by two more with infantry on board.
‘It was necessary to make the enemy think that the assault was being prepared at only one position. But the vehicles split, and the landing of the groups took place in two places at once, and in the end they simultaneously assaulted 2 positions under the cover of Bradley and M1117 APCs,’ the report says.
‘In this way, the Skala attackers managed to mop up two positions at once.
‘A clear plan and perfect coherence of our fighters’ actions led to the fulfilment of the assigned task,' the battalion said.
