Polish President Congratulates Trump On his victory in the US elections

The leaders of European countries have begun congratulating Republican candidate Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential elections.

Polish President Andrzej Duda published his congratulations and greetings.

French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Trump on his victory and noted that he is ready to cooperate with him, as he did during his previous term, "with respect and ambition, for the sake of peace and prosperity."

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni congratulated Trump, noting that Italy and the US are "sister" countries united by common values and historical friendship. "This is a strategic connection that I am convinced we will strengthen even more now," Meloni said.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda noted in his greeting to Trump that the US is a key strategic ally for Lithuania.

"Lithuania currently allocates 3.5% of its GDP to defence and will continue to increase its investments. Transatlantic unity is extremely important," Nausėda emphasized.
