Important to note, Russia is experiencing a shortage of butter, which caused its prices to rise. The cost of a 175-180 g package from popular brands with the usual fat content in stores fluctuates between 240-340 Russian rubles (from 8 to 12 Belarusian rubles, or 2.5-3.5 dollars — edit.). Buyers began to steal butter from stores, meanwhile stores, in defense, began to put this product in plastic containers that can only be opened at the checkout.
