Svitan: Russians Get Trapped On ‘Death Highway’

The armed forces of Ukraine continue to advance in Kursk region of the Russian Federation - in particular, in the area of the settlement of Pogrebki, where the highway to Lgov passes. Roman Svitan, a military expert, flight instructor and colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in reserve, told about it in a commentary to ‘Channel 24’.

According to him, the Russians, using hardware, are trying to knock out the Ukrainian Defence Forces from their positions, but they are not succeeding. At the same time, Russian troops are caught in a ‘trap’ on the ‘death highway’ and realise that this is ‘their one-way trip’.

‘We have them trapped there, and they will fight, stubbornly, but they will not pull back,’ the analyst predicted.

He emphasised that the enemy is being actively destroyed in this direction, because the density of its troops in other directions is less:

‘Our troops are advancing towards Rylsk, Kurchatov, that is, towards the Kursk nuclear power plant. The advance is small, but positive, there is dynamics, combat tasks are being fulfilled’.
