After that, the Kremlin lost Syria.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin refused to send Syrian mercenaries from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to help Bashar al-Assad's regular army. This led to the dictator's loss of control over the country.
This was reported by the Centre for National Resistance (CNR).
Assad asked the Russian dictator to provide military assistance and release Syrian mercenaries, whom the Russians had sent to the war in Ukraine, to defend his regime. However, Putin refused his ‘ally’ and in fact lost Syria.
The CNR reminds that this is not the first time Putin betrays ‘allies’ for the sake of achieving at least some success in Ukraine.
‘Previously, the dictator did not send help to Armenia, as all combat-ready Russian units are in the meat grinder for the sake of the Kremlin's invading ambitions,’ the report said.
