The land in the resort village went to the dictator's former security guard.
The owner of the plot of land near Sochi, which belonged to Belarus but was sold for a very low price, was a person close to Aliaksandr Lukashenka. This was found out by journalists from the Belarusian Investigative Center (BIC).
According to them, the new owner of the plot of land in Krasnaya Polyana is Aliaksandr Ramanouski, a former employee of Lukashenka's security service.
We are talking about a plot of land with an area of 9.7 hectares in the elite resort village of Krasnaya Polyana. According to the BIC, in 2021 and 2022, Lukashenka ordered the transfer of the land to the Russian company Kompleks-Invest by two secret decrees. As BELPOL found out, the price for the plot was determined 20 times lower than the market price.
“Belarus could have lost about 100 million dollars on this deal. In February 2024, 99.9% of Kompleks-Invest was purchased by Belarusian citizen Aliaksandr Ramanouski,” the BIC states.
