For the fifth day, protests have been held in Georgia over the pro-Russian government's decision to freeze negotiations on the country's accession to the European Union.
Today, as Ekho Kavkaza reports, a student strike has started in the country.
In Batumi, students and lecturers gathered near the Shota Rustaveli State University. The main demand of the protesters is ‘return of Georgia to the European course’.
Students are holding a protest rally in Tbilisi. Young people gathered near the first building of TSU, where they plan to demand from the management of the state university to stop the educational process, and call on students to join the protests.
