The Ukrainian Defence Forces eliminated three officers of the Russian army in the Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers gathered for a meeting and were eliminated by HIMARS.

“Three officers of the command staff of the Russian occupation forces were eliminated as a result of a successful operation by the Active Operations Department of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Tavria operational group of troops,” the report says.
Operation details
The Defence Intelligence employees received information about a planned meeting with the participation of officers of the command of the 4th Guards Military Base of the Russian occupation forces, who are participating in the war against Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
“After checking and confirming the data, military intelligence officers developed an operation plan, which was joined by the forces and means of the Tavria Joint Forces, the SBS, and the SSU's Typhoon tactical group,” the Defence Intelligence noted.
According to the intelligence officers, immediately after the start of the field meeting of the occupiers, a high-precision HIMARS strike was launched against the concentration of Russian officers and their vehicles, and after the arrival of the evacuation group of the invaders, the strike drones of the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces attacked.
Who was eliminated
As a result of the operation, three officers of the Russian occupation forces were eliminated:
Captain Dmitry Olegovich Nagorny, commander of the 1st battalion of the 135th motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces;
Captain Grigory Aleksandrovich Krokhmalev, deputy chief of staff for intelligence, chief of intelligence of the 135th motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces;
Captain Yury Viktorovich Fomin, commander of the anti-aircraft battery of the 4th Guards military base of the Russian Armed Forces.
Also, 5 units of the occupiers' vehicles were destroyed.
