Russia Faces a Dilemma Amid Massive Losses

The occupiers have underestimated their losses several times.

Military expert Oleksiy Kopytko writes about the huge losses of the occupiers in Ukraine. The Information Resistance project publishes his text. We provide an abridged version of the text:

"The Information Resistance group continues to collect data on Russian soldiers who were recognized as killed or publicly buried in Russia. We have recorded a record number of killed. De facto, Russia cannot hide the fact that it is burying two companies a day.

As we see in the story about that Azerbaijani plane, the Kremlin does not even admit the obvious and dodges until the last minute. The same is true for losses. The Russians understate them several times. The Russians are losing about a battalion a day.

Is that a lot or a little? This is not enough to stop the Russian horde yet. But it is already noticeable. According to the data we collect, there has been a gap between the number of mercenaries sent to the front and the scale of losses in the Russian Federation for several months. New arrivals do not make up for the losses.

It seems that the Russian army, fulfilling the political task of taking the maximum before Trump's inauguration, has finally stopped taking losses into account. Ukrainian military personnel, who are personally observing and stopping "meat assaults" of small enemy groups, note that it is impossible to advance in such a mode indefinitely.

If the trends continue, according to rough estimates, by the end of winter - the beginning of spring there will be an accumulation of gaps between the replenishment of the Russian Army and those leaving due to losses. Either the Russian authorities must find some new sources of manpower (for example, mass mobilization), or they will be forced to stop.”
