Belousov had to apologise to Kim Jong-un.
Russian troops are not getting along well with North Korean units on the frontline.
Recently a high-profile scandal broke out with the shooting of a group of DPRK soldiers.
Russian military expert Yuri Fyodorov told about it in his commentary to the ‘And Graham Rattled’ resource, reports ‘Dialogue.UA’.
According to him, an officer of the Russian Armed Forces had a domestic conflict with North Koreans on religious grounds. As a result, three ‘cargo 200’ went to the DPRK.
‘There was a certain incident, unpleasant for both sides. A Russian officer shot three North Korean soldiers who were having lunch, putting the food on an icon... He went into the hut, got terribly indignant and shot the North Koreans. Apparently, there was some kind of scandal before that,’ the military expert said.
He specified that this incident was one of the topics that Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov recently discussed with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un during his trip to Pyongyang. In general, according to Fedorov, there are clear signs that Russia is not doing well with the involvement of North Korean troops on the frontline.
‘There are a lot of mysteries. On the one hand, the media write that North Koreans are involved in combat operations in Kursk region. However, there is no concrete material evidence of this. There are no prisoners, no corpses... Even Russian military bloggers have nothing about them, and they usually write such things... Apparently, somehow, not everything is going well. Mechanisms of interaction between North Korean units and the Russian military have not been worked out. Otherwise, there would be some material evidence that the North Korean military are engaged in fighting,’ the military expert suggested.
