Zelensky Announces Conversation With Biden About Invitation To NATO

A lot depends on the position of the current US leader.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he plans to discuss the issue of inviting Ukraine to NATO with the current US leader Joe Biden.

This is reported by Interfax Ukraine.

Zelensky noted that he can not yet discuss with the elected US President Donald Trump the invitation of Ukraine to NATO, because ‘he is not yet in the White House and he does not have all these legal rights’.

‘I am going, by the way, to call President Biden in the near future, if he has such an opportunity to talk to me and raise precisely the issue of inviting to NATO,’ Zelensky said.

Zelensky added that a lot depends on the position of the current US leader. He also thanked the USA and Biden for the latest aid package of 988 million dollars.
