Ukrainian Armed Forces Hit ‘Fat’ Target Of Occupiers In Crimea

British intelligence revealed the details.

At the end of November, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the position of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system of the Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Crimea and destroyed elements of this air defense system, British intelligence confirmed on X.

As Zerkalo Nedeli writes, local Telegram channels then reported a powerful explosion and detonation of rocket fuel associated with the destruction of elements of this air defense system in the Simferopol region.

The footage released by British intelligence showed two craters measuring about 13.5 m, as well as air defense debris and five emergency response vehicles.

The S-400 Triumph air defense system is one of the newest anti-aircraft missile systems in Russia and is designed to destroy a wide range of air attack targets with a range of up to 400 kilometers.

The UK Ministry of Defence stressed that this was the second successful attack by Ukrainian troops on air defence systems in the past month. On 23 November, in the Kursk region, the Defence Forces struck the positions of the 1490th air defence missile division of the 6th Army of the Russian Federation and destroyed the radar station of the S-400 air defence missile system.
