German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz, during his visit to the United States, did not miss the opportunity to meet with his lookalike Senator Chris Coons from Delaware, representing the Democratic Party.

The politician was nicknamed the “double” of the German chancellor for his incredible resemblance to him.

A joint selfie of Scholz and Coons was published on the account of the head of the German government on the social network X.

“It’s nice to see my doppelganger again,” the chancellor joked.

The politicians really look alike, they even have the same smile. This is not their first meeting.

The senator also commented on the joint photo with the chancellor.
