Russian Oppositionist Alexei Navalny Died In Prison

(Updated) The Putin regime killed its main opponent.

Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny died in the Polar Wolf penal colony in the village of Kharp.

The Federal Penitentiary Service reports this.

“Convicted Navalny A.A. felt unwell after the walk, almost immediately losing consciousness. Medical workers from the institution arrived immediately and an emergency medical team was called.

All necessary resuscitation measures were carried out, but did not yield positive results,” Russian authorities said.

“By decision of Alexei Navalny’s family, I am not commenting on anything at all. Let's figure it out now. Alexei’s lawyer visited him on Wednesday. Everything was fine then,” Navalny’s lawyer Leonid Solovyov told Novaya Gazeta.

Throughout his prison term, the Russian oppositionist was repeatedly tortured.

He was sent to the punishment cell 27 times. In total, he spent 308 days in punitive confinement.

The Putin regime sentenced Alexei Navalny to 19 years in prison under several articles.

In August 2020, the Putin regime poisoned Alexei Navalny. Two days later, the Russian oppositionist in serious condition was transported by plane to the Berlin Charité clinic, where the doctors previously set the diagnosis as poisoning with a substance from the group of cholinesterase inhibitors.

On September 23, Alexei Navalny was discharged from a Berlin clinic.

Navalny informed that after treatment in Germany, he would return to Russia on January 17, 2021, on a Pobeda airline flight. On January 18, he was detained.
