Olga Romanova: Navalny Was Actually Tortured To Death

The customer's name is Putin.

The Federal Penitentiary Service announced the death of Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny, who was tortured for many years in a colony

The oppositionist died in correctional colony #3 in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The local department of the Federal Penitentiary Service reports this: “after the walk Navalny felt unwell, almost immediately losing consciousness.”

Navalny was actually tortured to death, human rights activist Olga Romanova told We Can Explain. “Of course this is the murder of Navalny. And there is no reason not to recognize the customer. The customer's name is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Nobody canceled the order to kill Navalny. And now the order has been fulfilled,” says the human rights activist.

Navalny was systematically tortured in the colony:

Navalny was constantly placed in a punishment cell

During his imprisonment, the oppositionist was sent to a punishment cell 27 times. The last time this happened was on Valentine's Day — February 14, he was given 15 days. In total, he had to spend 308 days in the punishment cell.

Navalny was denied medical care

On January 2, Alexei asked to be transferred to the medical unit due to a sharp deterioration in his health - the oppositionist had a fever and cough for a week, and his blood pressure was elevated. But the colony administration refused him this.

Navalny was deliberately infected

On April 17, 2023, the convicted Tatarchenko, “a homeless person reduced to a completely animal state,” said lawyer Vadim Kobzev, was placed in Navalny’s cell. Navalny refused to enter the cell because of the specific smell, but the guards forcibly dragged him into the cell and kneed him in the groin.

Navalny was tortured with light and not allowed to sleep

The oppositionist almost never had natural light in his cell; it was replaced by artificial light. The oppositionist complained about the inability to sleep normally because of this, but the colony took measurements and claimed that everything was fine. They constantly came to the oppositionist at night with checks, because of which he also could not sleep.
