Military Personnel Liquidated On A-50 Board Identified

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine named the exact number and officer ranks of the Russian military.

The entire crew of the Russian A-50 airborne early warning (AWACS) aircraft shot down on February 23 in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation was killed. Among them are five majors, three captains, an ensign and a lieutenant.

As Ukrayinska Pravda reports, citing sources in the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, all 10 Russians on the plane died. There were no casualties on the ground from the plane crash.

Earlier it was reported that the remains of 10 dead crew members were found at the crash site of the Russian plane.
