The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrsky and the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov visited the advanced command posts at the front.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram.
"We heard the reports by the commanders on the situation in their areas of responsibility. The situation is complicated in many directions and requires constant monitoring. The enemy carries out regular assaults on the positions of our troops," Syrsky writes.
According to the AFU Commander-in-Chief, together with the commanders, the situation was thoroughly analyzed and steps for the future were discussed, in particular, regarding the potential of manoeuvrable and positional defence, as well as the strengthening of separate sectors.
Syrsky also noted the importance of coordination and proper operational interaction of all the Defence Forces, saving the lives of the soldiers.
"We talked with the commanders of brigades and battalions about the realities in the field. We analyzed the problems that are not systemic. Immediately decided to improve combat capability, resilience and control. Despite the difficult situation, our warriors courageously hold the lines and positions. The enemy suffers irreparable losses," added the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
