Attempts at a new intervention in Russia threaten a large-scale conflict with the use of nuclear weapons. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this in his message to the Federal Assembly on February 29.

In his speech, the head of the Russian Federation stated that “the consequences for possible interventionists in the Russian Federation will be much more tragic than in past eras,” threatening a large-scale conflict with the use of nuclear weapons.

Putin emphasized that the strategic nuclear forces of the Russian Federation are in full combat readiness “for guaranteed use.”

He added that the Kinzhal hypersonic complex is being used “with high efficiency” in the war against Ukraine. In addition, the Zircon sea-based strike complex was used in combat, and the Avangard intercontinental-range hypersonic units and Peresvet laser complexes are on combat duty.

According to Putin, tests of the Burevestnik unlimited-range cruise missile and the Poseidon underwater unmanned vehicle are being completed.

The Russian President also promised to demonstrate the work of the Sarmat missiles.
