Ukrainian General Syrskyi Visited Frontline And Reported On Success In The East

The plan of the occupiers was thwarted.

Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, again visited the frontline. He spoke about the achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the east and awarded the Ukrainian military, who distinguished themselves during the battles against the Russian occupiers, the message by the Ground Forces on Telegram reads.

According to Syrsky, the Ukrainian forces managed to disrupt the enemy's plans to seize new territories and settlements. He added that the Ukrainian military prevented the advance of the Russian occupying army and created conditions for the further liberation of the territory of Ukraine from the enemy.

"The defenders of the Eastern Front inflict irreparable losses on the enemy and reliably hold the lines of defence," the report reads.

Syrskyi presented Ukrainian defenders with state and departmental awards for their courage, sacrifice and heroism.
