A battle is underway on the border with Ukraine near Russia's Belgorod region, Russian media report.

According to propagandist Semyon Pegov, several armed groups in pickup trucks have been spotted on the border, and tanks have also been seen approaching the border.

"There is a battle going on," the Z-war correspondent wrote.

The AFU tanks were also spotted by locals on the outskirts of the village of Gorkovsky in Russia's Belgorod region, 'Belgorod Online' reported.

In addition, residents of Kursk region of the Russian Federation report small arms fire in the area of Tetkino. At that, a video with the sounds of machine-gun bursts shot near the town appeared on social networks.
