'Belaruskaia Vyvedka': Lukashenka Smelled Conspiracy

A large-scale cleansing is underway at the Executive Analytical Center.

"Belaruskaia Vyvedka" "Belarusian Intelligence" reports that Lukashenka has begun a purge among the security services:

"His task is to get rid of potential "traitors". Traitors, in his perception, are key security officials who maintain malicious contacts with Moscow and pose a threat to his personal safety and the safety of the regime. Spot cleaning at one time began with the Presidential Security Service and the Administration, later in the KGB and the Security Council. Officials suspected of links with the Kremlin/Foreign Intelligence Service/FSB quietly gradually vacated the leadership positions of the power bloc and moved to "safe" places in other sectors.

Lukashenka was very surprised once, when he finally realized that the main "nest" for Russians was his own security service. The flight to Moscow under the protection of (Patrushev-Gryzlov) Naumau, Vtsiuryn's "treason", the signatories of the protest letter against violence coordinated by Moscow in 2020 Barodzich and Shynkevich are a small list of former heads of the Presidential Security Service who lost personal trust and were each accused of having ties with Moscow. Only Vtsiuryn, who was caught red-handed (officially convicted for bribery, and unofficially for treason), who crossed the red line, really suffered. The rest are temporarily "forgiven".

It's time to clean up the Executive Analytical Center.

Andrei Pavliuchenka, as the former head of the Presidential Security Service, was an exception and was considered crystal clear, was directly subordinate to Viktar Lukashenka and enjoyed his boundless trust. In 2020, he acted demonstratively clearly and rendered invaluable services to the regime... Nevertheless. During the years of his command, he turned the Executive Analytical Center into a "table of orders" for eastern neighbors of various types.

Through the Executive Analytical Center, at the request of the Kremlin special services or for a serious remuneration of Moscow merchants, it became possible to resolve any issue in Belarus, get any information or deal with any business/unwanted merchant. The schemes fascinated with their operational intentions.

The Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the KGB, and the Financial Investigations Department were well aware of the current situation, but they were forced to play along in the operational space, fearing to anger Viktar Lukashenka. The favorite tool for the implementation of Pavliuchenka's "orders" was his former "personal" colleague from the Presidential Security Service during his time, the head of the GUBOPiK (Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption) Karpenkou, solving particularly delicate affairs with him, who was skillfully jerking his boss around. The leadership of the Executive Analytical Center managed to manipulate the entire power unit for years to achieve its own selfish goals. The bill for their "paid services" are worth tens of millions of dollars. The schemes worked flawlessly, but for services to Lukashenka and with Viktar's personal patronage, they were covered. But they do not pay enough attention to the security of digital information.

Only when Lukashenka personally finally realized that the country's digital and information security had failed hopelessly, this time the focus of special attention was on the Executive Analytical Center and its leadership. When it became obvious that Western and Russian intelligence and even "zmahars" [rude for opposition activists - Ed.] felt like fish in water in the digital space of our country, Lukashenka smelled a conspiracy.

Lukashenka was finally convinced that the Executive Analytical Center had been lying to him all these years, "interacting" and "coordinating", but duplicating in their departmental and personal selfish interests the functions of the operational units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the KGB and the Financial Investigation Department, manipulated the Prosecutor General's Office, but at the same time completely missing its main function – cybersecurity and information protection. In our professional language, "solving issues", hiding behind "His" name, occupied most of the Executive Analytical Centre's operational activities, leaving the regime's digital security at the mercy of rivals.

The Executive Analytical Center is waiting for drastic changes. Lukashenka's headquarters are preparing personnel decisions, the perpetrators will be brought to justice. The main task is to streamline and restrain the Russian and opposition factors in the information field. The special service will be radically restructured and aimed at fulfilling its main functions: electronic intelligence and counterintelligence.
