The Ukrainian intelligence has disclosed the details of the attack.

On March 5, the 'Sergey Kotov' patrol ship ('Vasily Bykov' project) of the Russian Black Sea Fleet could have been hit and sent to bottom in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

"It was loud in Kerch after midnight, our subscribers counted five powerful explosions. According to our source, the Sergey Kotov patrol ship sank in the sea. The information needs to be confirmed," the report said.

Russian media reported that explosions were heard at night in Kerch - exactly in the area where the ship was located. According to their assumptions, the ship was attacked by Ukrainian marine drones.

Ukrainian defenders have destroyed the "Sergey Kotov" patrol ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The enemy vessel was worked on by naval drones, it is impossible to restore it.

"Sergey Kotov" is a modular patrol ship of the 22160 project. It is one of the newest ships in the Russian Navy. It was launched in 2021 and became the fourth ship in the series, joining the ranks of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

The full displacement is 1,800 tonnes, the crew consists of 28 people, and the autonomy of navigation is up to 60 days.
