GUR’s (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence) sources confirmed the information that Ukrainian defenders destroyed the patrol ship Sergei Kotov of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in temporarily occupied Crimea. Ukrainian naval drones worked on the enemy vessel. The ministry also added that the fate of the crew of this Russian ship is being clarified.

The patrol ship Sergei Kotov (Project 22160) was armed with a 76.2 mm AK176MA gun mount. The Positive-MK radar station, which had a range of 300 km, was also installed on it. The ship's crew consisted of 80 people, and the ship was also equipped with a helipad.
