In Russia on the morning of March 5, new explosions were announced. According to Russian sources, UAVs attacked the Gubkin oil depot in the Belgorod region.

After the hits, a fire started at the facility. Russian media write about this.

“The Gubkin oil depot was attacked by a UAV in the village of Dolgoye in the Belgorod region. A fire started on the territory of the enterprise,” one of the Russian publications reports, citing sources.

The fact of the explosion and fire was confirmed by the authorities of the Belgorod region.

“After the explosion, a fire was recorded at an infrastructure facility. There were no casualties. Operational and emergency services are on site. All the circumstances of the incident are being established,” said the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The fire that broke out at the facility is described by Russian publicists as “very powerful.”

“Two tanks are on fire at the Gubkin oil depot. The last time the facility was attacked was on February 15. There was no serious damage then,” notes one of the Telegram channels.

Another community posts claims that one tank is engulfed in fire.

“No one was hurt in the incident. A fire train is on its way to the scene,” the message noted.
