‘Woman Of The Year 2021’ Convicted For Nepotism And Racketeering

A month ago, a trial of director of the Polatsk State Vocational Lyceum of Agricultural Production Iryna Kisialiova began. The verdict and the content of the charges have become known, writes the Telegram channel “Vitsebsk, I’m walking.”

She was accused of fictitiously employing her partner in a position with a high salary in January 2019. As a result, in 2.5 years the man earned 28,495 rubles from his fake work.

She also organized a racket against her subordinates: from March 2019 to October 2022, she demanded that workers give up part of their salaries. So she “robbed” her subordinates for 6,470 rubles.

Under two articles (excess of power and abuse of power), the woman received a sentence of 3 years with a ban on leadership positions for 5 years. A deferment was given for 2 years.

The verdict can still be appealed.

The irony of the situation is that during this very period when she committed the crimes charged to her, she was declared “Woman of the Year 2021” in the “Successful Leader” category.

In addition, the woman also has the titles “Person of the Year of the Polatsk Region” and “Person of the Year of the Vitsebsk Region”.
