Lukashenka: I'm Fed Up With This Work

The usurper once again complained about “the hardest work,” but did not want to leave.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka, who on February 25, answering the question whether he would run for president in 2025, said “I will, I will, I will,” at a meeting with activists of the Belarusian Women’s Union on March 5, suddenly declared that he had been misunderstood.

“Someone there asked the question: “Will you run in the elections?” I didn’t listen to the end and [replied]: “I will, I will.” This does not mean that I have already made a decision. I just wanted to tell them: “Yes, I will, calm down.” This does not mean that I said “I will go” or “I will not go.” Everything will depend on how we approach these elections. What if a person appears whom we can trust. Anything can happen,” the usurper justified himself.

He also once again emphasized that the All-Belarusian People's Assembly was created “not for Lukashenka”.

“I’m so fed up with this work. Look, this is hard work. When you go to bed, you think about it, when you don’t sleep, you think about it, and when you wake up in the morning, you think about it again,” Lukashenka complained.

At the same time, the dictator emphasized that he “will not last forever” and promised the Belarusian Women’s Union activists that Belarusians will live “under a new president,” but did not specify when.
