Foreign Minister Aleinik Sees Increase Of NATO Military Formations Near Belarus Borders

Siarhei Aleynik is frightened by the amount of ammunition stored and aerial reconnaissance.

Foreign Minister Siarhei Aleynik, during a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers, announced the growth of NATO military formations near the borders of Belarus.

He focused on the fact that now the factor of force is openly relied upon, adding that there is simply no room left for diplomatic tools. According to him, anti-tank ditches and firing positions are being built near the northwestern border of Belarus. In addition, he clarified that ammunition is stockpiled in alarming quantities, and aerial reconnaissance is constantly being carried out.

“We also record a completely unjustified increase in the number of military formations in the border area.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs gave the following as an example. Thus, at the NATO exercise Quadriga 2024, which took place at the Pabradė training ground (Lithuania), three battalions from the United States and Germany were concentrated 15 kilometers from the state border of Belarus.
