Experts have revealed the details.
Russian occupation troops continue to suffer significant losses in the war in Ukraine, and the Kremlin machine is trying to replenish the stock of "cannon fodder" in a timely manner. In this regard, the invaders are already replenishing their ranks with drug addicts from Chechnya.
And this is happening on the orders of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. This was reported by the Centre for National Resistance.
After significant losses, the Russian conscription campaign and the recruitment of contract workers among prisoners and Wagner troops have exhausted their resources. Therefore, the terrorist regime in Russia is taking various measures to replenish the staff of the assault battalions.
Particular attention is paid to those groups of people the losses among whom do not have a great social impact in the Russian Federation itself.
For example, in Chechnya, men are taken to war in Ukraine for drinking alcohol and taking drugs. There is a well-known case of a middle-aged man who was forcibly sent to war for marijuana use, and his body was returned to his family three months later. People with addictions are also sent to war on the verbal order of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
In addition, we know of a case when the Chechen Supreme Court overturned the sentence of local resident Rakhim Saidarkhanov, who received three years in prison for drug possession. One of the defence arguments was his participation in the war against Ukraine. In general, the review of "drug" cases of the participants of the so-called "SMO" has become quite common in Russia.
