Waldemar Skrzypczak: It Will Take Poland Two Or Three Hours To Destroy Lukashenka's Scrap Metal
WALDEMAR SKRZYPCZAK

The Russians have taken away the dictator's hardware.

One should not be afraid of Aliaksandr Lukashenka' statements about preparation for war, as they are absolutely unjustified, and the Belarusian army's armament is a "pile of scrap metal," unable to threaten anyone. This is how retired Lieutenant General Waldemar Skrzypczak, former Deputy Minister of Defence of Poland and former commander of the Army, commented on the recent Lukashenka's statements, reports Wiadomości.

Waldemar Skrzypczak believes that the Belarusian army equipment is not in the condition to talk about preparation for war.

"First of all, one should know that he (Aliaksandr Lukashenka. - Editor's note) had to give some of his military equipment to the Russian army," said the Polish officer. According to him, it happened in the summer of 2022, after a large amount of Russian equipment was destroyed at the front in Ukraine.

"The Russians simply took away the equipment. Lukashenka has nothing to threaten with now. He is left with some repaired scrap metal that drives near the border and makes noise as if it were a tank army," the former commander believes.

Skrzypczak believes that fears at the moment are "completely unjustified" and that Poland "will need two or three hours to destroy this scrap metal".

"It's just a pile of scrap metal. Besides, Lukashenka is now not able to train as big an army as he would like. There is simply not enough means," he added.

The hardware, provided to Belarus by Russia, according to the officer, requires serious repairs and is also unsuitable for combat.

"As for the tanks, it doesn't take much time to repair the engines. That's why they are now driving along the border. But we really have nothing to fear. This hardware really can't harm anyone," Skrzypczak summarised.
