Night Raid: Ukrainian Drones Hit Oil Depot In Voronezh Region, Russia

The Voronezhnefteprodukt enterprise was attacked.

On the night of Wednesday, May 1, drones attacked not only the Ryazan oil refinery, but also the Voronezhnefteproduct enterprise in the Voronezh region. Rosneft owns both facilities.

According to the Russian portal Astra, tonight an allegedly downed drone fell on the territory of Voronezhnefteproduct JSC in the village of Staraya Pokrovka (Voronezh region of the Russian Federation). According to these data, there is supposedly no damage or casualties.

Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev said that in total three UAVs were allegedly “discovered and shot down” in the region, one of them in the suburbs of Voronezh. Gusev did not report anything about the attack on the Voronezhnefteprodukt facilities, but claims that as a result of the fall of debris from one UAV, “three private households were damaged: their windows, facades, fences, and doors were cut.”

According to the Russian Interfax agency, Voronezhnefteprodukt JSC sells fuel at retail through its own network of filling stations and to small wholesale consumers from oil depots. Voronezhnefteprodukt owns four oil depots and seven mini-terminals.
