During the consideration of his complaint, the specialists revealed the fact of non-returning the work record book upon dismissal. As a result, it was returned to the employee and the date of dismissal was changed to a new date (the day of returning the work record book).

In addition, the employer had to pay the average salary for each day of delay in returnng the document, the total amount exceeding 2.3 thousand roubles.

The guilty official was fined for violating labour legislation, the Department of the State Labour Inspectorate reported.
