The Ukrainian Armed Forces have liquidated a traitor who sided with the enemy and went to fight against Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian officer and military blogger Anatoly Shtefan "Stirlitz", who tracks Russian losses, a fresh obituary has appeared online. The Russians have confirmed the liquidation of Roman Maksimenko, a police major who joined the Russians' side after the occupation of Crimea.
The obituary notes that the traitor was born in Kyiv, studied in Kharkiv and worked in Crimea. In 2010, Maksimenko moved to work for the Interior Ministry, and after the annexation of the peninsula he worked for the invaders.
In 2023, Maksimenko retired for health reasons and signed a contract with Wagner. The traitor fought as commander of the Wagner assault group and found his death near Bakhmut.
