Albania Closes Entry For Lukashists

Entering this country using Belarusian diplomatic and service passports is no longer possible.

The Albanian government has canceled visa-free entry for Belarusian diplomatic and service passports. The decision was made on May 15, 2024, published three days later in the Official Journal of Albania and came into force

This refers to a partial suspension of the agreement between the governments of the two countries on the mutual abolition of the visa regime, approved by the decision of the Albanian government on February 19, 2020. The decision was signed by Minister of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania Belinda Balluku.

“Partial suspension of the agreement for diplomatic and service passports. This decision comes into force immediately and is published in the Official Journal,” the statement said.
