Based on the Russian "experience".
About a hundred Belarusian military instructors were trained In Russia to transfer the "experience" gained by the Russians in the war with Ukraine in their country, Major Yuhen Skalkavich, a senior officer of the intelligence department of the headquarters of the 120th Guards Mechanized Brigade, told SB TV. This includes training in various assaults and the use of drones.
Ten specially selected Belarusian servicemen took an instructor course at the Russian 333rd Combat Training Center in Mulino near Nizhny Novgorod earlier this year.
There they were trained by Russians with "experience" of the war in Ukraine, Chechnya and Syria — so that Belarusians would already transfer knowledge to the place of service. In total, about 100 Belarusian officers underwent such training in various specialties, they received the certificates, Skalkovich said.
The Belarusian military adopted new exercises from their instructors — fighting in the city and storming the trenches. "We are mostly used to the fact that our territory is covered with forests, fields, rivers. And the battle in the city was not at the first place. But, as the experience of modern conflicts has shown, the main battles are fought in urban areas or in settlements of different sizes, which accordingly affects the tactics of training units," Skalkovich said.
Now the personnel of the Belarusian army are taught "combat in an urbanized area" — defense and assault. According to Skalkovich, mobile applications such as AlpineQuest, Offline maps and Groza ("Thunderstorm") are used to speed up the calculations of artillery crews and tank crews. This also applies to conscripts.
