"We are mostly used to the fact that our territory is covered with forests, fields, rivers. And the battle in the city was not at the first place. But, as the experience of modern conflicts has shown, the main battles are fought in urban areas or in settlements of different sizes, which accordingly affects the tactics of training units," Skalkovich said.

Now the personnel of the Belarusian army are taught "combat in an urbanized area" — defense and assault. According to Skalkovich, mobile applications such as AlpineQuest, Offline maps and Groza ("Thunderstorm") are used to speed up the calculations of artillery crews and tank crews.
