Satellite Images Of Novorossiysk Port After Major Drone Strike

Traces of fire and damage are visible.

Satellite images appeared of the aftermath of the strike on the port in Novorossiysk (Russia) on Friday, May 17.

Satellite images taken on May 18 show traces of a fire on the territory of the commercial seaport of Novorossiysk, where a fire broke out after a strike by Ukrainian drones on the night of May 17.

"The photo shows damage to at least one tank on the territory of OJSC IPP, engaged in the transshipment of petroleum products, liquid mineral fertilizers and vegetable oils," the newspaper writes.

On May 17, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence forces attacked the occupiers' targets in Sevastopol, Tuapse and Novorossiysk with more than hundreds of drones. In particular, the seaport, refinery, oil terminal and power substations were hit.
