President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has called for the release of activist Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, who was due to be released from prison today.
“Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk's place is not in a Belarusian prison.
But free & reunited with her family.
Today, on the International Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners in Belarus, I appeal for her & all political prisoners' immediate release,” Metsola posted on X.

As Charter97.org reported earlier, the activist of the European Belarus civil campaign was accused for the third time of disobedience to the administration of the colony (Article 411 of the Criminal Code).
