Oleksandr Syrsky signed the documents after a video meeting with the Minister of the French Armed Forces.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky stated in his Telegram channel that he welcomes the sending of French military instructors to Ukraine; the documents necessary for their stay in the country have been signed.

“I have already signed documents that will allow the first French instructors to visit our training centers and become familiar with their infrastructure and personnel,” he wrote.

Syrsky announced the approval of the necessary documents after a video meeting with the Minister of the French Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu, in which the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov also participated.

“I believe that France’s determination encourages other partners to join this ambitious project,” added Syrsky.
