Belarusian Squeezed Between Two MAZs

There has been an accident with the driver of one of the capital's enterprises in Minsk. He was hospitalised after he got squeezed between two MAZs.

According to the Investigative Committee, this morning, the 63-year-old driver climbed on the step of the MAZ cab at the truck stop, inserted the key into the ignition and started the engine. However, the lorry was not in the parking brake. The gear was on on the manual gearbox and as a result, immediately after starting the engine, the lorry started to move.

It crashed into nearby vehicles. The driver was trapped between the cabs. He sustained multiple injuries.
