Russian Tanks, Infantry Storm Novy Microdistrict In Chasiv Yar

Russian occupiers continue active operations at the front, including in the Donbas. Now the enemy is trying to storm the Novy microdistrict in the city of Chasiv Yar. Oleh Kalashnikov, the head of the press service of the 26th artillery brigade named after Coroner General Roman Dashkevich, spoke about this in more detail on Espreso.TV.

According to him, the enemy wants to move forward in the Donetsk region and take control of new territories, but in return he only loses a significant amount of equipment and personnel.

“The enemy is trying to storm Chasiv Yar itself. This is where the Novy microdistrict is. It also intensifies assault operations — this is the direction of Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka and does not leave Klishchiivka, Andriivka without its attention. The Russians are already using not only infantry units, but are increasingly including a mechanized component — these are tanks and armored combat vehicles. The enemy began to use artillery more intensively,” said Oleh Kalashnikov.

Separately, a representative of the 26th artillery brigade added that the situation can really be called tense and the Russian Armed Forces are constantly trying to carry out offensive actions, thereby using all the weapons they have.

Ukrainian defenders are also active — the enemy is unable to break through the defense.

“It should be noted that we destroy the enemy quite well. The Russians are losing a significant amount of equipment and personnel,” concluded Oleh Kalashnikov.
