All Neptunes Reached Target: New Details Of Attack On Kavkaz Port

Russian advanced air defence systems could do nothing.

In the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, a strike on the port of Kavkaz was carried out by 8 Ukrainian-made missiles. They all reached the target. Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko reported this citing his sources.

"According to my information, the attack on the ferry and the oil terminal of the port 'Kavkaz' was carried out immediately by eight missiles RK-360MTs 'Neptune' of Ukrainian production. Everyone reached the target around two o'clock in the morning. Russian advanced air defence systems could not do anything," the journalist said.

He added that earlier, the air defence of the Russian Armed Forces could not do anything when American ATACMS missiles, manufactured 30 years ago, struck the Kerch ferry crossing opposite the Kavkaz port.

"All the means and mechanisms by which the loading of military trains on the ferry is carried out have been put out of action. It is said that one of the Ukrainian military leaders who led the operation spoke about the quality of Russian air defence: "Next time we will use with ATGMs."

Andriy Tsaplienko noted that the Ukrainian Navy, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defence Intelligence jointly prepared the strikes on occupied Crimea.

Recall that on the night of May 30, the Ukrainian forces attacked the Kerch ferry crossing with ATACMS missiles. The Russians actively use this crossing to ensure the grouping of troops in temporarily occupied Crimea.

As a result of the attack in Crimea, 4 boats KS-701 Tunets were hit, 2 of which were destroyed. These boats of the Russian Armed Forces were used for logistics and patrolling the water area near the temporarily occupied peninsula.
