Russian Tries To Smuggle Weapon Parts Across Belarusian-Lithuanian Border

At the Lithuanian border, a Russian citizen traveling from Belarus was found to have weapon parts, the Lithuanian Customs Criminal Service reports. The man has a residence permit in Latvia. He was driving a Jaguar.

Lithuanian customs officers checked the car at the Medininkai checkpoint (Kamienny Loh on the Belarusian side). It is assumed that the parts found could be “military or dual-use items.” These include devices for attaching special equipment to weapons and pistol grips.
