Pashinyan Delivers Ultimatum To Minsk
Nikol Pashinyan

Armenian PM demands apology from Lukashenka.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he would not visit Belarus as long as Lukashenka is in power:

‘I want to state on record that I will never visit Belarus again as long as Aliaksandr Lukashenka is in power’.

Also, the head of the Armenian government said that Armenian officials would also not visit our country.

Armenian Prime Minister explained that his attitude to the CSTO might change when Belarus leaves the organisation or if the Belarusian ruler apologizes.

The aggravation of relations between Yerevan and Minsk is connected with Lukashenka's visit to Nagorno-Karabakh.

On May 16, the Belarusian dictator said the following at a press conference following his meeting with Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev: ‘I have remembered our conversation before the war, before your war of liberation, when the two of us were philosophising over lunch. Then we came to the conclusion that it is possible to win the war’.

The words of the Belarusian dictator caused a diplomatic scandal.
