Syrsky: Russians Are In A Hurry
OLEKSANDR SYRSKY

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine believes that time will soon be on Ukraine's side.

Russian occupiers continue to attack the positions of the Defense Forces in the Kupyansk, Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Vremevsky Ledge directions, said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.

In particular, he noted that the enemy is conducting active offensive actions of varying intensity in these directions, trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian defenders and capture important areas or settlements that affect the stability of the Ukrainian defense.

“The enemy is concentrating its main efforts in the Pokrovsk direction, where the overwhelming majority of its strike brigades and regiments are concentrated. Fierce fighting continues in the areas of Hlyboka, Chasiv Yar, Staromayorske, Robotyne, Krynky and the islands in the coastal part of the left bank of the Dnipro,” Syrsky said.

He also added that Russia now understands that as a result of the gradual receipt of a significant amount of weapons and military equipment from Western partners, including F-16 aircraft, time will be in Ukraine's favor, and the Russian Federation's chances of success will decrease.

“Therefore, the command of the Russian troops is now making every effort to increase the intensity and expand the geography of military operations in order to exhaust our troops as much as possible, disrupt the preparation of reserves, and prevent a transition to active offensive actions,” Syrsky added.
