An unidentified munition exploded.

An explosion occurred at the Libava military training ground in the east of the country in the Czech Republic. According to preliminary data, 9 people were injured. Two people were evacuated to the hospital by air ambulance. Ambulances arrived at the scene, Radio Liberty reports.

The Czech army reported on social media that an unidentified munition exploded. Military police are working at the scene.

The Libava military training ground is located near the city of Olomouc, about 250 kilometers east of Prague. It has been in operation since 1949, its area is about 235.5 square kilometers, iDnes reports.

As reported by Czech Radio, Ukrainian military personnel were undergoing marksmanship, medical, and tactical training at the training ground. It is unknown whether the exercises were currently taking place and who was participating in them.
