Putin Appoints His Niece Deputy Defense Minister Of Russia
ANNA TSIVILEVA

Anna Tsivileva is the daughter of the recently deceased brother of the ruler of the Russian Federation, Yevgeny Putin.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, has appointed Anna Tsivileva as Deputy Defense Minister of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti.

RIA Novosti specifies that Putin appointed Leonid Gornin as First Deputy Defense Minister, and Tsivileva and Pavel Fradkov as Deputy Ministers.

Tsivileva is the daughter of the recently deceased Yevgeny Putin, the brother of the self-proclaimed president of the Russian Federation, and is married to the former governor of the Kemerovo Region, Sergei Tsivilev. After Putin's “inauguration”, Tsivilev received the post of head of the Ministry of Energy in the new Russian government.

Pavel Fradkov is the son of the former director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation and former head of the Russian government, Nikolai Fradkov. Meduza notes that since 2021, the new employee of the Russian Defense Ministry has been the first deputy head of the Russian Presidential Property Management Department. The decree appointing Fradkov Jr. to the Russian Defense Ministry states that he has been relieved of his previous position. Gornin previously served as the first deputy head of the Russian Finance Ministry. Since April 2023, Tsivileva has headed the state fund “Defenders of the Fatherland”, which is aimed to support participants in the so-called “special military operation”.
