Already in the next package of military aid.

Italy may transfer long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine in the next package of military aid.

This was reported by the Italian newspaper Fatto Quotidiano.

The ninth arms package for Ukraine, which Defense Minister Guido Crosetto will present to parliament by the end of the month, will contain not only the Samp-T air defense system, but also a batch of long-range Storm Shadow missiles, potentially capable of striking Russian territory, authoritative sources familiar with the situation told the publication.

Storm Shadow missiles are long-range, stealth, air-launched air-to-ground cruise missiles developed jointly by France and Great Britain. The French counterparts are called Scalp.

Here are some of the key characteristics of the Storm Shadow missiles:

Range: More than 560 kilometers, which allows them to hit targets far beyond enemy air defenses.

High Accuracy: Equipped with a state-of-the-art TERCOM (Terrain Contour Matching) system and GPS navigation, ensuring high accuracy of engagement.

Low Observability: Low radar visibility makes them difficult for enemy radars to detect.

Flexible: Can be programmed to attack a variety of targets, including bunkers, air defense systems, and bridges.
