Haidukevich From 'The House' Proposed Declaring Default In Belarus

At the legislative level.

Aleh Haidukevich from "The House" [the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus - Ed.] proposed not to repay the government’s debts to the “unfriendly” states, and also to adopt a bill according to which the states that had imposed sanctions against Belarus are in debt but not Belarus itself.

He stated this after the report of the head of the Ministry of Finance, Yury Seliverstau.

De facto, Haidukevich proposed declaring a default in Belarus, and even making it at the legislative level.
